Michigan v. Yale Football Program 1939 in very good condition. 32 page large format program includes pictures of players from both teams, period advertisements and articles about Michigan football. The game was played in Ann Arbor and the cover of the program is more typical of one played at Yale where the captain of the team is pictured, in this case Yale's William Stack, sitting on the Yale fence. Future President Gerald Ford served as a Yale coach in 1939 and is pictured on page 9 in the program along with the other coaches. He is described as "the blond fellow looking at the camera, who was an outstanding member of the Wolverine eleven who graduated the year before."
