Princeton University 1905 Football Mug - F. Earl Christy

An absolutely spectacular Princeton University 1905 Football Mug in very good condition. Produced by T. Maddocks Sons Company in Trenton New Jersey (as marked on the bottom of the mug--see photos). One side of the Princeton University Football Mug depicts a very unique illustration of a Princeton football player running with a football with a copy of the signature of Artist F. Earl Christy below him as well very artistic raised football laces next to the football player. The Princeton University Football Player is wearing the classic striped Princeton Football jersey of that era with the traditional "P" on the front of his jersey. The other side of the Mug boasts the Princeton University emblem in Latin. This amazing and very unique piece of American intercollegiate football history measures approximately 5" tall and 2.75"
