Unique Mounted Columbia University Early 20th Century Silks

A unique Columbia University vintage collectible made from c1910 tobacco silks. The items contains 11 different tobacco silks featuring Columbia athletes including a skater, baseball player, crew member, track runner, golf, football player and more. The silks have been mounted on a board that measures 33 inches by 17 inches. The larger silks measure 7 inches by 5 inches and the smaller ones measure 5 1/2 by 3 inches. There is also a silk which has a Columbia pennant and a school cheer. 

These "tobacco" silks were given away by tobacco companies in the early part of the 20th century when you purchased their premium products.

To purchase all the silk individually could cost over $350. The baseball and golf silks are particularly hard to come by.

Can be displayed as is or framed.
