A small piece of tape on the top of the front cover. Cover illustration done by Joe Watson Little and is one of the best ever produced for a college football program. Little was a famous illustrator who did work for various Hearst Corp. magazines including Collier's and various detective magazines. The illustration depicts the "flying wedge" formation and the players are about to hit the referee.
