Early Stanford University Albertype Book of Views, undated but late 19th or early 20th century. Softcover, 13 pages, each is stiff-type cardboard style. Handsome tie string still present. The school crest is on the cover in the top right corner. Measures 12 inches x 10 inches, in very good condition. Produced by the Albertype Company of Brooklyn, NY and sold by bookseller E.L. Hide in Palo Alto. Among the early black and white images present are those of the Arcade, Chemistry Building, Memorial Court, Engina Hall, Roble Hall and general campus views. Would make a fabulous gift. Rare.
