Early Yale Stein - T. Maddocks & Sons 1909. Measures 6 1/2 inches tall. Some slight looseness to the pewter top, overall in very good condition. The top of the stein has an image of Elihu Yale on in it pewter. the stein itself has early photographic image of Yale on it.

T. Maddocks & Sons was one of the premier potteries in Trenton, New Jersey in the early part of the 20th century. Trenton was the pottery capital of the U.S. in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Thomas Maddock was born in 1818 into a family of potters in Staffordshire, England. He emigrated to America in 1847 and established a business with his three sons.
