The Jester Book of Columbia Light Verse hardcover book in good condition. 77 pages, some light soiling to cover and sun fading, still in good condition overall, binding is tight. Published in 1922 by the Bullstrode Press, New York. The 'Jester' is Columbia University's humor magazine. The book is compilation of verse and poetry. The book has a jazz age feel to it, one of the verses is "The Male Flapper" and the frontispiece illustration was done by John Held, Jr. and shows four lewd women undressing with a man standing nearby. Held was the preeminent artist of the Jazz age who was widely published in The New Yorker, Harper's Bazaar, Life Magazine and Vanity Fair.
