University of California Berkeley Wedgwood Plate - Benjamin Ide Wheeler Hall

University of California Berkeley Wedgwood plate featuring an image of Benjamin Ide Wheeler Hall - 1917. The plate measures 10 1/4 inches in diameter. This is part of a set that was issued for the University's centennial and it was designed by G. Elwood Hoover for the California Alumni Association. The plate is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. The plate has some glazing marks on the rear only that does not impact the front or the overall presentation of the plate. The plate is mulberry in color and around the edges of the plate are various scenes and vignettes from the Berkeley campus including an image of the campanile and other buildings.
