University of Pennsylvania miniature silk measuring seven inches by 4 3/4 inches. These "tobacco" silks were given away by tobacco companies in the early part of the 20th century when you purchased their premium products. Beautiful illustration of a Penn runner in stride with the school's crest above him. In very good condition.
